Trend Alert: Punk




I can’t believe I am writing this but the Autumn/Winter season has well and truly arrived!

Gone are the pastels and powder pinks which have been replaced by blacks and berries. 
Walk into any high street store and it will hit you straight away…summer is officially over!

It’s not all bad news though, as with the arrival of Autumn also comes the arrival of our new winter wardrobes and every fashionista knows that winter fashion is so much more interesting than Summer fashion.

Yes in summer our favourite stores are full of pretty clothes that we are all happy to wear because it means the weather is slightly better or if we are lucky we have a holiday to shop for, but as the evenings get darker and colder the fashion gets better!

My favourite trend for this coming A/W 13 is PUNK

This trend is already taking over the likes of Penneys, Forever 21 and River Island to name but a few. 
Think leather, studs and most importantly Tartan!

You may not have been seen in tartan since you were a baby or in school uniform (neither of which were your choice) but give it a few weeks and I can guarantee that you will have at least 1 tartan item in your wardrobe ;)

For those of us who cringe when we hear the word ‘Punk’ fear not as you don’t have to go full on to do this trend, some punk accessories with a simple outfit might be more your style. You could go for a biker boot or studded handbag because when it comes to this trend you will not find it hard to get your hands on anything classed as punk…it is going to be everywhere!

As you can see there are so many ways to style this trend from subtle to full on rock chick so don't be afraid to let your inner punk come out for A/W 13

Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Review

With so many tans on the market claiming to be "the best tan ever" it's hard to know which ones are worth trying!  So many come with expensive price tags but that is not always an indication as to how true their claims are. All About The Base...

When it comes to make up the most important part of my routine is the skin.  Yes I love a smokey eye, winged liner and perfectly arched brows but a flawless base is what brings any look together! In this blog I will tell you about the products I rely on to achieve that flawless finish. Primer:  I start off with MAC Prep & Prime Skin.  This evens out my skin tone, reduces redness and creates a smooth base for foundation while hydrating the skin. Concealer: Like many girls I suffer from breakouts, particularly on my chin.  I like to use Mac Pro Longwear Concealer to cover those spots before I apply foundation.
