Best Budget Foundation



I recently did a blog about my favourite foundation Estee Lauder DoubleWear. 
Understandably not everybody wants to spend €35 on one product so this is my more affordable recommendation…

If like me you want to invest in a more expensive foundation for evening wear but prefer a cheaper alternative for during the day then this will be perfect for you.
We go through our daytime foundation a lot quicker than our preferred night time one which means we have to purchase it more often so at €10.99 a pop this won’t break the bank!
This foundation from Rimmel has a really nice buildable coverage whilst still giving us that dewy healthy glow, it creates an instantly flawless yet quite natural looking finish.
It comes in a range of 6 shades which is not a great amount of variety but hopefully you can find one to suit your colouring!


Rimmel describe this foundation as a light, moisturising texture applies smoothly and leaves skin feeling soft and comfortable all day and I would definitely agree with this description!

In my opinion this will suit people with a normal/combination or dry skin but would not be great for an oily skin type!

Wake Me Up definitely needs to be set with a powder and with keeping being on a budget in mind I would recommend Rimmel Stay Matte as it is an excellent pressed powder and just as good as a lot of high end ones!


My overall verdict on this foundation is excellent it really does make your skin look awake,fresh and dewy but also manages to give a flawless finish, it blends so easily it takes little or no time to apply it! Definitely a must try product!

Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Review

With so many tans on the market claiming to be "the best tan ever" it's hard to know which ones are worth trying!  So many come with expensive price tags but that is not always an indication as to how true their claims are. All About The Base...

When it comes to make up the most important part of my routine is the skin.  Yes I love a smokey eye, winged liner and perfectly arched brows but a flawless base is what brings any look together! In this blog I will tell you about the products I rely on to achieve that flawless finish. Primer:  I start off with MAC Prep & Prime Skin.  This evens out my skin tone, reduces redness and creates a smooth base for foundation while hydrating the skin.
